BC Green Games are BACK!

Science World is happy to announce the opening of the seventh year of our digital environmental action storytelling contest, BC Green Games! To celebrate our seventh birthday, we have added more Community Coaches and new prizes, plus we are building a new fast and functional website!

Join today! All BC Green Games teams and teacher sponsors enjoy access to relevant scientists and resources to help inspire environmental action, celebrations and documentation of their projects and all teams are invited to visit Science World for a free field trip during Green Month.

While our site is under renovations, you can visit our landing page for contest guidelines, important dates and to submit your action plan, for your chance to win awesome early-bird prizes like cameras and workshops!

A warm welcome to our newest Community Coach: Bakerview EcoDairy

Are you looking for a mootivational BC Green Games Project? Bakerview EcoDairy's education program links to the BC school curricula with a range of age-specific activities, including scavenger hunts and crafts designed by Science World British Columbia's education professionals.

New for year seven, BC Green Games partners up with Return-It School

We are pleased to announce that Encorp Pacific and their Return-It School program will be joining us for our seventh year as Co-Presenting Sponsors of BC Green Games and hosts of the new Return-It Trip prize, which offers teams outside of Metro Vancouver a chance to join us at Science World for Green Month.

Encorp's Return It School program makes a great BC Green Games project and is a great way to win even more prizes. The Return It School program is a beverage container recycling challenge that tracks your progress and lets you compete against other schools.
