| 8,100 Petitions Delivered...Were You There? |

Hello Otto,
Sometime ago, many of you signed a Petition to defeat the "Fairness Bill" (Senate Bill 974 and House Bill 1510), and many of you are continuing to distribute the Petition.
We want to take this time to first of all thank you all for taking part in this Petition Drive and therefore taking a stand to take back our nation from the statists!
We are truly most grateful for each and every one of you!
Let me give you a rundown of today's activities in our first FULL DAY of war at the capital. But first let me address two items:
(Item 1) Speaker Turzai's office not allowing video: Donna Merritt checked on the rules...and, supposedly, the occupant of any given office has the right to decide if his office will or will not allow video cameras.
We took video anyway!
(Item 2) A certain person should be highly, highly commended--21 year old Kendra from the Baptist church at Three Mile Island--what I like to call my Three Mile Island Department of War.
When we first learned that the House version of the Fairness Bill was being discharged from committee on Tuesday/Wednesday, I asked the Three Mile Island Department of War to call all 203 House members immediately so that we could make a 5 column analysis.
Kendra, in two days flat, called 173 House members by herself, and her mother called the other 30! Kendra should be commended for her devotion and work in this battle!!!

ACTION ITEM:
We have been made aware that the House and Senate may well vote on the "Fairness" bills THIS WEEK. Jack Hamlett, PLA Fairness Act Coordinator and other opposing groups held a demonstration at the Capitol building in Harrisburg on Monday, to let our legislators know that there is strong opposition to this bill.

| Now here is a summary of Monday's activities.
It was 8:10 AM when Ed Bender (PLA Coordinator) and I left my place today. It was 7:30 PM when I returned home. That should give you an idea of how long we were in Harrisburg!
Ed and I initially went to Three Mile Island to join the Department of War family consisting of the father, Pastor Hockenburry, and his wife and three daughters. Also, another brother in the Lord was along with them.
Altogether I believe we had around 40 people with us at the
capital for the most important work -- delivering the petitions as well as visiting Senator Scott Wagner who has not been good on this bill as was expected of him.
Once those activities were completed, most people left, but the Three Mile Island Department of War family and me and some others continued going from office to office, initially getting the scores for the House and then running through as many senators as we possibly could.
We submitted 8,100 signatures to the Speaker of the House Turzai, the House Majority Leader Reed, the Senate Majority Leader Corman and the Senate President Pro Tempore Scarnati.

| We visited the offices of 20 to 25 representatives and senators today!
Even at almost 5:00 PM, Senator Alloway, who is very wishy washy on this bill, commented to us that he knew petitions had come in!
Also, Representative Frankel who pushes the bill was VERY unhappy to see us rolling cases of petitions in the capital. He had told someone that there was no opposition to the bill....well he was WRONG!!!
He was lying anyway because representatives and senators have been receiving hundreds of calls and emails.
He made a nasty comment to Kendra--our lady who called 173 House members--that this was "nice timing!"

Regarding the surprising support from Senator Scott Wagner on the special interest Fairness Bills, we dumped another 4,000 signatures in his office too! Do you think someone potentially running for Governor of PA would actually READ the bill before supporting it?
We did go to Daryl Metcalfe's office and via his secretaries thanked him for his great stand against this bill. He has become our champion at this point.

Interestingly, Senators we thought supported our God-given 1st Amendment Rights, including PRIVACY, were not terribly happy to see us as we can tell they are not doing everything they can do to stop this bill.
When I saw Kim Ward's office, I said to the group, we MUST go in there just so she knows that the PA Liberty Alliance can appear when she least expects it!
I know we have made life miserable for the poor old girl at times. I marched into her office quite adamantly. Of course, she was not there, but after I fussed with her secretary over the Fairness Bill and got nowhere, her chief of staff came out. He started giving me a lot of political hogwash so I straightened him out accordingly.

TRANSGENDER FASCISM
We went to visit one House member who had literally hung up on Kendra when she called...when we got to her office, there was no one there! And her office looked like it could use a good cleaning job!
We laid our letter about opposing the Fairness Bill on the secretary's desk, and I hand wrote a letter explaining we did not appreciate her hanging up on us.
Sometimes, secretaries would tell us that they cannot present our concerns to their boss because we were not from their particular constituency.
With one such secretary I had to raise my voice pretty loud before she finally took down my phone number and said they would call me with an answer. I do not appreciate representatives and senators and/or their secretaries telling me that our voices do not count!
The secretary definitely knew something was
happening and she took us very seriously! And of course, we all marched in with our signs!
We had LOTS of signs, thanks to Donna Merritt! One thing I noticed is that these leaders and/or their secretaries definitely listen when you walk in with a large group of people and slam down cases of petitions.

I never yelled at anyone, but did raise my voice often, trying to be extremely firm and vigilant at times, explaining how, for instance, that if one girl is raped because of this bathroom bill, any state senator or state representative who voted for this bill is an accomplice to that crime of rape.
As for the current status of the bill, it is one big mess now. Our Petitions have had an impact I do believe, but the proponents of the bill are very crafty.
Right now, the Senate version is now in the form of 3 different bills which may put off a vote on the discharge of the House bill version which is still a single version. The whole thing is one BIG MESS right now.
That said, things could move in the wrong direction very quickly. We must pray and act so that it does not.

ACTION ITEM:

Jack Hamlett of PLA, Diane Gramley of American Family Association Action and other opposing groups held a demonstration at the Capitol building in Harrisburg on Monday, to let our legislators know that there is strong opposition to this bill.
Jack Hamlett has gathered over 4,000 petition signatures on his own, and Diane's group as well. They delivered them to House and Senate leadership on Monday.
This vote is being forced by WEALTHY lobbyists in DC and Harrisburg and their flunky legislators ON BOTH SIDES of the aisle in an effort to get this bill passed before more people become aware of the dangers and pitfalls it contains.
Also, they are trying to beat
ANOTHER RALLY being held June 27th at the Capitol by Pennsylvania Family Institute and Pennsylvania Family Council from 12:30pm – 1:30pm at the Rotunda. More lobbying WILL follow!
