Hello Otto,

Saturday morning, The Scranton Times reporter, met with 18, PTIA76 warriors in front of Senator John Blake’s office this morning, in Scranton. “Why were we there”, he asked several volunteers. “To spread the good news of school Property Tax independence Act 76 AND hold Sen Blake accountable for betraying us, betraying his constituents and betraying another 10,000 homeowners who will lose their homes this year”.

Half of us knocked on doors and the other half remained in Scranton to handout flyers in front of Boscov’s and other locales. Lucy Cohowicz is a madwoman, I tell you! She just started putting flyers on EVERY car in site…she’s crazy (like a fox).

Since John Blake was nowhere to be found, we headed to his home in Jermyn.

After politely knocking on his door a couple times, we left literature in his door and gathered the troops for a photo op on his front porch. We know John was home, because his cars were in the driveway and we heard folks talk inside while his neighbor was on the phone saying, “…they’re on your front porch taking pictures!”

So after a couple pics, we again hit the pavements, knocking on ALL his neighbors’  doors, gaining petition signatures, leaving tri-folds and flyers and probably covered a fourth of Jermyn.

Most everyone we spoke to signed the petition and almost everyone KNOWS John! Do you think he’ll rest this week?

Well, just in case he didn’t hear from enough disgruntled taxpayers, we’re doing it again Saturday February 20th! PLEASE JOIN US EVEN IF YOU COULD NOT MAKE IT TODAY. RSVP @ (717) 489-2019 OR palibertyinfo@gmail.com

Why is Senator Blake siding with Tom Wolf on the loss of our property rights?

If you feel the same way, you can help us 2 different ways!

1) Join us February 20th as PA Liberty Alliance, PCTA groups and PTCC members and activists are talking the talk and walking the walk in Scranton and Jermyn, Lackawanna County, from 9:30am-2pm.

From the South, The Train of Pain leaves the Bethel Fire Co, 9675 Old 22, Bethel, PA 19507 at 7:30am, Saturday February 20th.

Otherwise, meet at the Sheetz Gas Stat,
1101 Oneill Hwy, Dunmore, PA 18512 at 9:30am, just North of Scranton.

Take exit 188 from the North and 187 from the South on I-81. We will meet from 9:30-9:45am for a group photo.

We will distribute maps, clipboards and all the literature you will need to help canvass Blake's own community.

Pack a lunch and dress warm! We'll meet back at the office at 2pm to turn in clipboards till the next Saturday.

Please call (717) 489-2019 or email palibertyinfo@gmail.com to RSVP.

Let's let John know that he and others can’t play these games of supporting bills and then ducking for cover of the special interests at the most critical time!

2) If you just cannot join us, you can help us by chipping in $100, $50, $20 or even just $5 to help us run ads, print flyers and mailers in Lackawanna County. We will hold him accountable at a townhall meeting just like we've done all over the state.

Just go to our website to donate or volunteer, or you can click on the button at the bottom of the page.
